The artist Jenny Dyson hugging one of her favourite things in the world: A London Plane Tree

Hiya!

Dishing originality up on a plate, artist Jenny Dyson presents a unique, contemporary twist on traditional blue and white ceramics. Drawing inspiration from her mother's expansive blue and white china collection, Jenny has transformed commonplace objects into mesmerising art pieces. “There are endless stories in the willow pattern and spode plates of my childhood. I wanted to recreate that feeling of gazing into a plate while you eat your sausage and mash and losing yourself in the story as the image is revealed.”

The London based artist is forever exploring the realms of creativity. With a day job that has included working at Vogue, Elle magazine and Teen Vogue, creating couture content for luxury brands including Chanel and publishing the official newspaper for London Fashion Week for many years, Jenny likes nothing more than using her imagination to bring wonder and joy to the world.

She is also the voice of meditation for National Prison Radio in the UK and is currently working on a top secret project (ssh don’t tell anyone).
